The first time I ever visited FSU was during orientation. I was amazed at how the staff made the parents feel at ease. Although FSU is a very large institution, we felt FSU caters to each student as an individual.
The orientation felt like a marathon! A lot of information in a short period of time - but it was all worth it.
I was a bit disappointed on the use of technology - this was not really addressed during orientation. Another surprise is that co-ed dorms (at least the one my child is in) is truly co-ed. Guys and girls on the same floor!
