We had an amazing stay at this hotel! First time visit and we will return. The hotel was impeccable, staff was friendly and the food was great! The walking proximity to everything allowed us to be tourists in our state capital. The Aloft shuttle dropped us off for the game which is less than 2 miles away. The picture is our view from the hotel.....beautiful. Thank you for your great service! Go Noles!

Stayed the weekend of Nov. 6, 7. Good location for FSU. Parking fee was a surprise and the main lot filled up most times we returned so you have to park in a secondary lot adjacent by the bus terminal. Our room faced Monroe St. so traffic noise was evident throughout the stay. Room was very clean, liked having the mini fridge. No vending machines though so have to go to lobby where Diet Cokes are $3 for a small bottle. I balked and walked a block and a half to the Walgreens and got 2 for $3. Bar is small but we went there after night out but they close at 11:00 and actually start shutting down about 15mins before making you feel like they are booting you out.

Room tip: Don't face the main streets.

This was our third year in a row staying at Aloft Tallahassee for Florida State University's Homecoming game. I tip my hat to the service personnel for keeping everything humming during what must be one of the busiest and most chaotic weekends of the year. The lobby is an open, modern, and minimalist design style with plenty of nooks and crannies for sitting, eating, drinking, lounging by the fire, etc. They have full service Starbucks on-site and a narrow but tasty menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert [their chocolate lava cake is not to be missed]. We take our two oldest children with us to the game so we stay in a room with two queen sized beds. While a bit tight for four people, the room is more than comfortable and the beds are very comfy. I have stayed at a bunch of W hotels across the country but this is the only Aloft property I have enjoyed. This hotel gets my highest recommendation for anyone visiting Tallahassee. Wonderful hotel. Great location. AMAZING staff and management. They really go out of their way to try and meet your every need and to ensure your comfort. Well done Aloft Tallahassee. Well Done.

Room tip: Keyless room entry with the SPG app. Flawless & Convenient.

Spouse and I stayed last weekend Nov 6 & 7, Friday & Saturday. I was shocked at how run down the lobby area has become! We stay here several times a year. This place used to be so nice and used to feel casual/upscale. Cloth ottomans are FILTHY, furniture run down, but my BIG beef was that Saturday morning , we met my son downstairs for coffee about 9:30 ( surely a reasonable time for staff to have cleaned from the night before) we moved twice to find a place to sit that didn't feel grungy, and when we settled for seats by the fireplace both of our end tables were covered with sticky ring marks from the last nights cocktails! A magazine was stuck to the table! We went to sit out on ottomans by the pool and what looked like a spilled Coke cocktail was in a puddle on ottoman, along with wet drip marks from dewy night. Cig buts in the plants and on pool deck. What was most un Aloft like- was that when we came back down at 1:30 to grab lunch, nothing had been cleaned! But some very little child had walked through the puddle of Coke on the ottoman and left footprints! Gross !when we came back at 4:30, someone was just emptying patio trash, footprints and puddle still on ottomans! Aloft Staff was still great as ever and our room looked fine, but there wasn't a wastebasket liner in any one of the three baskets that were in there! Gross if you have to throw beverage cans or food containers way! Never mind, the bathroom. Hope that this was just a one time weekend mismanagement mishap, because we like to stay at Aloft.

Good stay. Nice rooms. Wi-fi doesn't work very well in rooms. Charging $5/night to park when room is $400!

As others have said you can hear road noise, but modern rooms with good amenities. Good little workout room. Convenient downtown location.
