I've been to HK several times.

My wife and in-laws are from Chengdu so are born foodies and know what's what.

We've lived in and tried the best that NYC, SF, and SJ have to offer - - this IS better.

Yes, it's in a funky strip mall location in Sunrise. Yes, it's a bit of a drive. But, damn, that is the best dim sum I've had in the United States. The service is terrific, the menu extensive, and the prices quite fair.

Like Dim Sum Go Go in NYC (which the wife and I always refer to as 'Dim Sum "A" Go Go') you order instead of deal with shrieking ladies in rolling carts bumping into arms, legs and elbows which is altogether more civilized and calming.

Run, don't walk, and go eat there. As the tv character Monk was wont to say: "You'll thank me later."

In a dumpy aged out mall and not looking like much from the outside. My wife, the brains of the operation, knocked on the window and mouthed, "How's the food?", to a group of diners and got the thumbs up sign.

Though, not served from rolling carts, the dim sum were the real deal and reminiscent of the eateries like the Silver Palace or the Golden Phoenix in The City...you know which City.

We also had the beef chow fun and it is state of the art.

Easy to follow menu and a pleasant staff added to the pleasure.....Don't fail to search down this place. Close to the Sawgrass Mills shopping mall.

As a native New Yorker who grew up on Chinatown restaurants, this is the closest we have found in South Florida to duplicating the New York food experience. My wife and I have been patrons for the past 10 years, and have always had an excellent experience when it comes to the food. Try the house special panfried noodles or the silver noodles if you are in the mood for a delicious
noodle dish. If they are available and not already sold out, try the baked pork buns. They are up to the standards I remember from my days in New York's Chinatown. If you are in the mood for a vegetable dish, try the Chinese mustard greens. I could go on and on about the array of outstanding dim sum dishes they serve, but I suggest you go there and try them for yourself.
