First visit to Bash at its new location. The new place is definitely in a nicer shopping center, plenty of parking, well lit and clean.
The menu seemed to be expanded from my visit to the old location. Addition of burgers/sandwiches.
We started with the beggar's purses and truffle fries for appetizers. The purses are just awesome, very rich and tasty.
For my meal, I had the beef short ribs, which were so tender that they fell off the bone, good bbq sauce to go with them. Had the mac and cheese as a side, very yummy.
For dessert, we split a bunch of things that were good, but I really wanted the churro chocolate chip bread pudding, but they were out of it. What we had, brownie a la mode, peach cobbler and apple pie. I don't like cooked fruit, so I can only comment on the brownie, and it was ok, nothing special.
Very friendly service. They had an excellent singer playing that night, which made it sort of loud, but you could still talk with your party.
Overall, glad they are still around at the new place. Its the kind of food you would expect on Las Olas or in Miami, not in Sunrise. It is worth the drive.
