I stayed here with my family for the July 4th 2013 week. We stayed in Room 412 which was great! They were the lowest price and I was very happy with my choice to stay there. The room was very large with 2 queen sized beds and had lots of room! The beds were really comfortable (we didn't hear any noise from the Tiki Bar at night in this room) The balcony had a beautiful view of the Gulf! The Tiki Bar is cool too! :) The staff were very friendly and since the lodge is in the Great White Heron Refuge, the birds were amazing!!!!!!! Zaza's was closed for renovations so I am hoping to try it next time. They offer you free coffee in the morning, the pool is really nice too! There is kayaking next door to the hotel which we did ($40 for a half day). We launched and got to kayak in the beautiful Gulf waters right outside our hotel room. Saw some beautiful fish! Overall, no complaints, we had a wonderful stay! We go down to the Keys about once a month and I would definitely stay at Sugarloaf Lodge again!
