“All of the modern conveniences - quaint rental”

Plenty of space for 2 people. Clean and well maintained. Bed was a little soft for me. It is on White St. and while not a busy street by city standards, it is one of the main streets bordering Old Town. About 15 minutes walking to the heart of Old Town. Highly recommend renting bikes. Fausto's grocery store is conveniently located about 3 blocks away. Prices are higher but still better than dining out every meal. Management company picked us up and dropped us off at airport and was willing to meet any reasonable request.

Nice condo. One of four that are in this complex. Far enough from duval to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough to bike or walk. All amenities that you need. A/C, Cable, Internet, full kitchen, hot tub, small pool, etc. unit is starting to show little wear from always being rented. Just under the going rate for similar units in town. Have rented this unit many times over the last 6 years.

“It was a relaxingly quaint stay.”
Reviewed November 14, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We enjoyed the tropical surroundings of the deck outside the bedroom with the private hot tub. Although, the hot tub could use some refurbishing and the washer dryer will probably need to be replaced soon. Over all it was a nice unit and house keeping did a great job each day.

“Cute, Cozy and Cool on White St.”
Reviewed August 14, 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We reserved 1 week at Palm Isle for the last week of July. Check in was a breeze at the Duval St. Office. You get an option for housekeeping visits either mornings or afternoons, which is a nice option. Staff very friendly, very helpful. PROS: Clean apartment, good for 2 guests, but 4 may be a bit tight. Nice layout and well decorated, with the classic tropical motif. Great working A/C, needed that in July! Kitchen fully equipped, everything worked, fridge & fixtures clean, like new. Master B.R. King size bed was a bit soft, but OK for the week. 2 Flat screen TVs with Wi-Fi. This unit had the walk out terrace with a hot tub for 2, plenty of towels. Bathroom updated and functional, would have liked a bit more space in the shower, but overall clean and usable. CONS: these buildings are old restored structures anywhere from 60-100 years ago, so some cracks in the wood are visible, floors a bit uneven and you may find a weathered look outside on the decks, though they keep the paint up to date. I love having a real steel key and not plastic to open a door!. Exterior foliage not very well trimmed, there were palm fronds hanging everywhere in back, they need to trim the trees more regularly. The community pool in back never appeared to be used, and had dead leaves and branches from all the overgrown tree palms falling to the ground. KWVR needs to trim some of that overgrowth. Tips: The unit is at the northern most boundary of Old town, so it is a solid 25 minute walk to Duval and the downtown area. Rent a scooter or a bike. Parking is on street and can get crowded, but there is plenty of room on the side streets. For stocking the fridge go left out of the unit 1 block past Truman is Faustos – great place to stock up on food & drink. Plenty of places to eat on just about every block, just exploring Old Town can take 2 or 3 weeks. Overall a great rental for the price, we had a great week, I give it 4 out of 5, I would definitely go back.

“Lovely retreat with all you need”

My husband and I (and dog Winston) stayed in the upstairs Palm Isle unit on White Street for a combination business/vacation stay. We chose it because it was pet-friendly, located in a quiet section of the historic district, and in an area where on-street parking was not a problem. The apartment was just perfect for us and looks just like the pictures. The staff at key west vacation rentals were great-- from the check in staff to the housekeeping folks. Of the three units on White Street, I think this is one of the nicest. The palm-shaded back deck with hot tub is a tropical retreat and the unit itself is nicely appointed. VERY comfy bed-- and I'm picky. And all the cookware, etc. you will need to feel at home. Heart of Old town (Harbor, Dock, etc.) is about a 10-15 mintue walk, but Key West is such a beautiful walking town we never minded it.

“Charming and Great Location”
Reviewed September 15, 2010 for a stay in August 2010

This unit had everything you need to have a great vacation in Key West. It was very clean and well decorated for a charming/romantic getaway. A great location, plenty of street parking, well equipped kitchen and even a hot tub. The unit did not have a dvd player and the pool was small and in shade but the beach is in walking distance. I will definetly stay here next year when I return to Key West for a work assignment.
