“Bathtub is gone! Sandy washed it away!!”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

Hurricane Sandy came and washed Bathtub away! I would be surprised and disappointed if the county put more money into reconnstructing the beach again...

“Still an Amazing Place To Enjoy Natural Surroudings..”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

I say still because the storms have caused a bit of erosion to this small slice of paraidise..
This is where you go to sit and be inspired, the water is clean and clear, its a stunning area for photos and also for snorkeling.
Go during the week to avoid the crowds in peak seasons.
You may bring the dog,but keep on a leash..an unspoiled wonderful picnic spot!

“Shallow and safe for kids”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Unfortunately the recent storm has eroded much of the sand and Martin County has a big cost to repair the beach - which they are going to do. Kids love the shallow water held back by the reef.

“The BEST!!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

This beach was awesome!!! Kids and adults both loved it, we were able to look at the fish out by the reef and the kids were safe from crashing waves... TONS of seashells about an inch or 2 UNDER the soft sand. This beach is now on our must visit list for each trip

“THE BEACH IS GONE!”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

They will need to spend millions to get this beach back to where it was. The reef is beautiful on a calm day. Parking can be a challenge. It is a shame that it is washing into the Ocean!
