“Ok food terrible staff!”
Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Pizza and salads weren't bad, but the staff was unpleasant, incompetent and downright rude! For a small fishing town with tons of visitors during scallop season you would think they would be on their game. Quite the opposite! And we only had take out! I couldn't imagine dining in.

“Great location and look, BUT!!!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Prior to a recent trip to Steinhatchee I had read the reviews on this Hungry Howie's and decided to try it. We ordered a Large Greek Salad. It was large but 90% lettuce. There was a fair amount of Feta Cheese 4 tomato wedges and some olives. Also ordered a medium cheese pizza, (lots of crust, little cheese and next to no sauce), (didn't eat it), and an order of wings ( I know, WHY WINGS), they were extremely fatty and microwaved. The good part is that it is waterfront and you can get a beer (like 20 varieties) and wine by the small bottle. Very helpful staff and clean, GREAT location. It is nothing special and not worthy of a second visit.

“Looks like locals submitted all the past reviews”
Reviewed June 26, 2013 via mobile

So if you order a sub it is a small pizza folded in two with the ingredients you order. So a BLT and a chicken parm became a calzone of each..,we actually thought we got the wrong order. The service for a phone in order was equally strange. The manager was seated with a group of locals eating while a second employee walked from around the counter to start sweeping the place. Minutes later the 'sweeper' approaches us and tells us it will probably be a while because she didn't believe the preparers heard her when she told them we ordered salads. She them walked to the back to assist. Why oh why would you sweep the floor while we waited knowing that our order was delayed?? It's a dominoes with half the quality and efficiency.

“NOT Just a Pizza Place”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

This small town pizza place is BIG! Serves beer, wine, subs, salads, soups, and, of course, pizza. Best part is THERE is LITTLE or NO WAIT TIME! Food is always great! try the clam chowder, it is fantastic!

“Great Value & Good Location”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Arrived too late for lunch really so just wanted a quick bite to keep us going till dinner...the location was perfect with a good deck directly overlooking the river with fishermen in front ....we selected two small salads ......well they certainly filled us .... they were freshly prepared by friendly & chatty staff....for our apetite the small & the medium salads were brilliantly over the top in volume....managed ....we would recommend this establishment for good down to earth value food with a great view.
