I've been to this lovely place 3-4 times in the last 10-15 years and it never fails to satisfy! Everything is fresh and good to the last drop. They make own preserves and almost everything is provided from the property. Hopefully we can add more pictures after today's visit.

Be sure to arrive early, because the place gets filled up quick and you'll have to wait.

I felt like I was walking into a charming rustic home in the country. The garden is absolutely beautiful. We sat next to the windows to enjoy the view and after our huge breakfast took a walk through the garden and down to see the ducks and geese. Homemade whole wheat breat was out of this world! Jams and spreads and all for such a resonable price. If you are near Tecpan you do not want to miss El Pedregal!

When you walk into this restaurant you will find yourself surrounded by some beautiful gardens and the restaurant's various beautiful dining rooms.

I was amazed by the complimentary starters; home made jam, fresh delicious cream and cheese, tomato sauce, home made wheat bread, fresh hand tossed tortillas and great pot coffee.

To me, that would have been enough for breakfast but it didnt stop there. I ordered "el pedregal" breakfast which was two eggs over easy with to ago sauce on top and various cooke vegetables, it was delicious. I also order grilled steak wich was both flavorful and juicy.

Overall I highly recommend this restaurant plus people kept coming in while we were there.

The only complaint I would have would be the service, it lacked a bit.

Beautiful open air atmosphere, very clean, healthy and wonderful Guatemalan food. You have to try the blue corn tortillas-handmade and to die for. Lunch included various courses including soup, beans and rice, salad of the day, the wonderful tortillas and fresh grilled meat, plus dessert. Two people could easily eat one of these lunches. Recommended by the sisters at the local orphanage.
