“" A Simple two day get-away"”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

We took our two Grandchildren ages ( girl)7 and ( boy) age ..for a two day get away to Silver Spings Wild Waters Waterpark..IT WAS AWESOME...first off we checked in at the Hilton Holiday Express , which offered heated pool and free hot breakfast.....,The room was spacious, two queen beds, extremely clean with plenty of towels, fridge and microwave..and very quiet..it was poolside !!!!
The staff was very accomodating and suggested a nice afforable family friendly restaurant owned/operated by a husband and wife...Michelle and Charlie..LaRocco's III...food was awesome, portions large..consider sharing dish with a child...The owners wer very gracious and made you feel very welcome...I would recommend to everyone .
The Waterpark is across the street..staff is mainly college/students and is very professional and courteous..We were at the Park from 10-5 ( operating hrs) even G-PA did the slides !!!!! the kids had a blast and the lines did not get heavy until around 1 pm...even then it was still not bad....We know where to visit next time we want a close get away...

“Awesome Waterpark!”

This is now our favorite waterpark within 50 miles of home! All the features a waterpark has to have and admission is fair!

“Save Your Money”

Wild Waters used to be a pretty fun water park. Operative words are “used to be”. For some reason, the park has shrunk. There used to be approximately six slides, a wave pool and a kiddie area. Now there is only four slides, a wave pool and a kiddie area. That is not a whole lot to keep you busy, especially since one of the slides is so old it actually hurts when you slide down and another is so slow you literally stop in the middle of the slide and have to “scooch” your butt along to get going again. My kids and I were completely bored with the park after two hours. Also, the wait lines for the slides are glacially slow. I am all for safety, but the park really needs to find a way to speed up the wait time. The only thing that made this trip to the park palatable was the special $12 per person admission price. There is no way this park is remotely close to being worth the regular admission price of $31.99. You would be much better off paying the extra $$ to go to one of the Disney water parks
