This place is absolutely amazing! My husband and I stayed here for 1 week for a late honeymoon and I must say I was extremely impressed with this place. We stayed in the Sandpiper, the room was VERY clean, modern, cozy and had an extremely comfortable king size bed! The pool was directly across from our room, it had warm, clean water.... and since I run a pool store and my husband owns a pool service business so we were definitely impressed with that. The beach with its white sand and blue water was just a short walk from the room, and boy was the 2 minute walk worth it, what a gorgeous beach!!!
The service was wonderful, everyone was so helpful and pleasant. The front office has a nice selection of DVDs to check out whenever you want and they offer free beach chairs to check out as well! The resort is in walking distance from a grocery store, 7 eleven, and a few restaurants. My only complaint is that they allow people to smoke under the covered sidewalk outside of everyone's doors, my husband and I don't smoke and every time we stepped out of our room both people on both sides of us were smoking like chimneys which got a little irritating, I wish they had designated smoking areas away from the rooms. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this resort, the rooms and grounds are very, very clean, the service is wonderful, the price is great and the beach is gorgeous. I don't think our vacation could have been more relaxing and perfect thanks to the wonderful people at Tropical Shores Beach Resort!!

At the great price of $85 a night, it could've been "iffy" but I trusted the reviews and were pleasantly surprised at every point. Staff were friendly, room was just beautiful, close to the beach, and VERY clean. The bed was so lush, you just sink into it. The bathroom is beautiful...and of course, Siesta Key Beach!! I will definitely be back. While we were there, it poured rain and the entrance to the parking lot flooded. It took about an hour for the water to disappear but meanwhile, a family took floats and went out and floated in it! That was good for a laugh! While you are there, check out Clayton's Restaurant...the decor is awesome and the food is great!

For the price ($85) you can't go wrong with this hotel. Just one thing was the noise from outside of the room. There are tables outside of the rooms for smokers and a courtyard with tables. Even though the hotel policy provides for "quiet time" after 11pm, people were up all night partying outside. The front desk closes at 10pm, so you don't have anyone to call for assistance. Aside from the noise issue, I thought it was a nice hotel.

Had a wonderful time staying here for 5 days. 2 min walk to the beach. Beach is excellent for running and shell hunting--go early for the best shells. At night we walked around the whole complex several times after dinner. The area is safe and lights are up for Christmas. There are 2 heated pools..it would be nice if one was designated for adults only.... but the kids that were there love it. We stayed in a mini efficiency which was perfect for 2-3 people but then again we were outside most of the time. The staff was very helpful and always asked you if you needed anything. We did need some towels...and within 1 minute had them delivered. The beds were the best for sure. Internet sometimes went out but they had it fixed in no time. You can sign out chairs and beach towels to take to the beach which was wonderful.--And the coffee/cookies were a nice added touch.
20-30 min drive to Sarasota airport. Also went to John and Mable Ringling Museum--a must see!!
Went to City Pizza...nothing to write about really. Had dinner at the Hub Baja Grill down toward Siesta Key shopping and restaurant area. Their food was very good. Nice little T- Shirt shop across the street. (Turtle something) also nice little shops in Siesta Key area.
Would definitely stay here again.

I go to siesta key quite a bit and I usually rent a condo in town. For shorter visits I will definitely stay here again. It's right on the beach, there is a pool and the rooms were very new and stylish.

We stayed 9 days. It was supposed to be a working vacation. However that proved rather difficult as the free internet was not existent. I managed to get on twice when I was there in the early hours of the morning before the other quests tried to use it. It appears they do not have sufficient bandwidth for the number of guests they have, The rating is low as this was misrepresented in their advertisement. I would of avoided this property if I knew this.

We always appreciate the hearing from our guests and value all feedback we receive on trip advisor. We enjoy positive reviews as well as look for comments that let us know of something that may have been overlooked so it can be addressed immediately. In this particular case, we can very confidently say to our guests that we our complimentary wifi offers a 16.92 download speed and an upload of 7.31 which is rated as an A- National Average. We want to ensure our guests that we know how important a strong wireless connection and have an exceptional system in place. We are contacting this guest directly to find out more about their experience and have also tested every area of the property after this review and have found a very strong signal throughout the property and rooms. A couple times a year, updates may be done, which may create a very limited interruption to provide the best connection and service on an ongoing basis. We also have contracted full time local support to call on 7 days per week in the event that there was ever an outage or any interruption of service.

Newly updated rooms that are clean and well maintained. Close to the beach. 3 minute walk to the beautiful sands of siesta key! Great hotel staff ! Cannot wait to come back and stay. Great onsite activities. Shuffleboard and volleyball. Walking distance to nearby stores.

Room Tip: When booking ask for a room close to the beach...less of a walk
