Our family decided to visit Flavios twice while vacationing in siesta... Twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time. We enjoyed the whole experience. We dined outdoors. The staff was very friendly and our food was delicious. We all tried different thing both nights but we were not disappointed by anything. My husband really like the mussels and ordered those both nights.

Our second night there we actually went out a little early. We didn't know that you must make a reservation if you are dining before 9 but the waiter was very accommodating and found us a table! We loved Flavios and will return next visit!!

This place is one of the most expensive place in the area. Now I had the Lasagna and it was really good, my wife and kids had the pizza and the said that it was really good as well, so the food is pretty good. Now when they advertise a special it DOES NOT MEAN cheaper! It means more EXPENSIVE! I ordered an appetizer that was a "special" thinking that it was a reduced price and once I receive the tab I realized that their special has a different definition. The "special" appetizer ended up costing just shy of $16.00 which was absolutely not worth the cost. The waiter also failed to mention that they had pizza on "happy hour" we only knew because my wife found it on the internet. A cannoli that can cost maybe 25 cents to make they are selling it for almost $9.00 ea. they do not have dessert on the menu so they do not advertise prices. Half of our bill was app and dessert and our bill exceeded 100.00 at the location. Too expensive for the experience.

My wife & I just happened to stop into Flavios one afternoon & discovered a gem in Siesta Key. Very good pizza & wine served by friendly bartenders. Happy Hour prices are a bargain too. Tough to beat that combination in the village. Next time we will return for dinner.

We had our first visit to Flavio's last night and it certainly won't be our last! Don't know how or why we've missed Flavio's on all our visits to Siesta Key, but it will now become a frequent stop! One of the best meals I've had in a long time! The atmosphere is hustle-bustle, but we had a great table in what appeared to have previously been a short hallway.....perfect spot with window view of all the SK activity. Our waiter, Joseph, was outstanding and one of the best waiters we've had. He was very knowledgable of the menu and made great suggestions. His wine choice was spot on and the two entrees he recommended were outstanging; sea bass and veal chop, a special that night. The chop was so tender you could almost cut without a knife. We ended the meal with the night's special cheesecake which was amazing. They also served us a complimentary Limocello, a very nice touch. Their menu can be high end, but they also have wood fired pizzas for a less expensive evening. I can't recommend Flavio's more highly and ask for Joseph to make it even more special, it's will become a regular spot for us!

Had dinner with 2 other couples while visiting Siesta Key. We had been told that the service was poor and the staff rude. THIS COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH,". We ate on the porch. The staff was friendly, courteous and went out of their way,to ensure our dining experience was great!. The menu was large and everyone raved about their dinner choices! A Definite favorite on Siesta Key.
