Some friends in Sarasota had us meet them at Bella Roma for dinner. Parking on Siesta Key on a Saturday night can be problematic, but it is a nice are to walk in.
The restaurant isn't fancy, and it was packed and noisy. That said, everything was great. The wine list is very good, the roasted peppers were excellent, and the entrees were large and delicious.
And even better, we went across the street to the Oyster Bar for the band and dancing, then Olaf's down the street for ice cream. Siesta Key is a lot of fun, and the Bella Roma is well worth it. But make a reservation, as it is busy!
