The Bayside condos, while individually owned, are the weaker side. Our condo, #340, hasn't been renovated, and is easily 30 years old. The Tower appears to be the best place to stay here, though the condos on the beach side are clearly newer and appear neater than those on the bayside. We stayed during spring break, so we paid top dollar- which means we paid too much for the condo we rented. Beach is nice, but no nice lunch place out there to get burger or sndwiches, no place to get drinks or snacks- a weakness versus places we have been that included this service. It doesn't seem like many places provide this service along the beach here. The Sarasota area is also in a severe state of decline- numerous restaurants are closed- buildings closed all over the place.

We rented a condo and were shocked at how clean and modern the rooms were. The condo was HUGE it could easily have held a family of 6. The picture on the website doesn't really do the site justice. The staff at the Palm Bay Club are friendly and helpful. Although the weather wasn't quite warm enough to swim our son was completely content to play in the sand or swim in the heated pool. There are a lot of fun places to see in Sarasota if it happens to rain while you are there.

We stayed for a week at the Palm Bay club in one of the condo units off the beach.
Neighbors moved in the unit overhead and had loud parties that went on for several nights until 3 to 4 a.m. I got almost no sleep for two consecutive nights. Furniture was moved around, loud talking etc etc til the wee hours. Other then that the place is great.

Our family has been vacationing on Siesta Key for years. Our favorite place to stay is in the tower at Palm Bay Club. We have found that the 1 bedroom units are plenty big enough for our family of 4. The south and west facing units in the tower have the best view of the beach and ocean. This last visit we stayed in unit 28. It had a queen sleeper sofa on the enclosed porch which was like having an extra bedroom. The unit was very nicely decorated and if the elevators were busy we would just take the stairs. I enjoyed the sound of the ocean and the breeze coming in thru the screened in windows. The office staff was wonderful to deal with and my kids love the free wireless internet. I am looking forward to our next vaction at Palm Bay Club!

I take my family down to Siesta Key every summer, over the holidays, and Spring Break. We usually try to stay at Palm Bay club. Its close to everything, great beach, and nice size rooms. During the summer my entire family (about 40 of us) stay there and keep coming back.
Book rooms well in advance if you are coming with a big group.

Palm View Club is a very lovely property. It is centrally located and very tropical. Just what we were looking for in February. The beach is beautiful, a short drive to fun dining in the village. The pool on the intercoastal was peaceful and pretty. All in all, a classy place.

We brought our children (2 under ten) and my sister in-law with us on our celebration vacation and had a wonderful time. We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We were in the tower facing the water and it really impressed my sister in-law and the rest of the family too. We had five in our party and plenty of space to stretch our legs and do our own thing. The pool was great and not to busy with guests, as well as the tennis courts. This was one thing we were looking for at our location so my oldest could continue training while on vacation. The kids had a great time on the beach playing in the sand and swimming in the water.

The amenities were clean and neat, I didn't feel that I had to clean it again first before I let the kids touch anything. I've had that experience and I'm not a crazy germaphobe or anything.

The staff were freindly and courteous, not that I saw much of them or even had to call them for any problems. We had a late check in and had no problem. We used the phone provided and someone came promptly.

We are currently trying to book another trip to this establishment. I've never been back to the same place so soon, it hasn't even been a year yet. That's how much we liked it and it will be the same group again too.

Definitely would recommend this place to families as well as couples as it's away from the main beach and more private.
