We try to come to Tropical Breeze most years because its a great place to stay.
It is always clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and polite.
Tropical Breeze is located in a great spot close to bars and restaurants but far enough away so you cant hear any late night noise. i would recomend this resort without a second thought to anyone, it is great for couples or families.

Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed our close location to Siesta Key Village and of course the #1 beach in America......Siesta Key. Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon.

We stayed in an efficiency room with a full fridge, stove and oven. We were one block from the beach and its pet friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I suggest bringing your own towels theirs were a little dingy. Also the hotel has limited beach chairs and umbrellas if you have your own take them with you. Restaurants, bars and shopping in walking distance like 1 block. Also there is a grocery store across the street from Columbus blvd. Overall it is my new vacation spot.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 153 which is on the ground floor next to pool house.

I've been to Siesta Key many times and of course for my wedding, I wanted to stay close to the village and the beach. Tropical Breeze Resort was fantastic! From check in to check out, the staff was so friendly, accommodating and eager to please this bride and her crazy party of 50. Make sure to book in advance as they fill up fast. We rented the honeymoon suite for our stay and it was perfect and stunning! Huge room with all the perks of home. The private patio was a big hit to hang out on after hours and the full kitchen was a great compliment on the day of the wedding for all the bridesmaids, our flowers and keeping the mimosas cold. We didn't have our wedding here but at Cafe Gabbiano instead (FANTASTIC FOOD!!!) All of my guests were very happy with the resort as well and all have said they want to come back to vacation there again. Will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite is worth every penny!

Hidden from the hustle and bustle of everyday life exists an oasis several blocks from the beach and even less from mom and pop coffee shops, frozen drinks and relaxation. Here you can park your car and not even give it another thought as everything you need for the perfect weekend is within walking distance….with or without your flip flops.

This location was chosen for us while we were down for a wedding and we could not have been more pleased. My brother and his wife, mom and dad and my husband and I stayed in rooms 109, 107 and 106 respectively. 106 was the corner suite and the biggest of the 3 with 2 queen sized beds and a bigger kitchenette/living space. Rooms 109 and 107 had single queen beds, a smaller kitchenette, but still very charming with screened in patios with tables and chairs to enjoy our morning coffee and conversation.

If you are looking for the Hyatt, move on. If you want the charm of old school Florida, but with modern updates, look no further. We couldn’t help but smile when we walked over the shuffleboards thinking we had stepped back in time. We’re in our 30’s, but the nostalgia wasn’t lost on us. Many of the visitor photos capture the kitchen finishes with oak cabinets, and bathrooms with modern tile and upgrades. Very nice.

There’s a courtyard with palm trees, shells and little brick paths to your door, as well as a grill and chairs under a tiki hut, and the neighbors grilled up something fabulous one of the nights we were there. We also had a full sized fridge, stovetop, microwave, pots and pans and all the typical kitchen stuff to make something in house if we wanted.

It just so happened that the family wanted to eat out the whole time, so we would wake up, sometimes with coffee from the office steps away, or sometimes we’d walk to the Broken Egg, the German or French bistros, or even Lelu’s for a pumpkin latte or Kona coffee 2 blocks away. Once we had our coffee, we’d walk down to the beach and wake up with the sound of the ocean and the sand between our toes. Heaven.

Everything you need is on Ocean Blvd, 2 quick blocks away. A small grocery store, a hardware store, beach shops, cocktails, restaurants and live music. I also wanted to say that the staff was so helpful. We had an issue with our showerhead, and maintenance fixed it right away, very easy. The front desk service was always with a smile, and extremely friendly. I would stay again in a heartbeat. When I’m back at work tomorrow, I will be thinking of my home away from home at Tropical Breeze, and missing my morning walk along Ocean Blvd.

Room Tip: Room 106 had 2 queen sized beds and a bigger kitchenette/living room

We stay in Siesta Key often at a number of different resorts. Tropical Breeze was our favorite so far. Staying in the beach house with family visiting from out of town was really perfect. It was incredibly spacious, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, big kitchen with washer and dryer, a front porch we could see the beach from all made our stay wonderful. The staff was accommodating and the large facility is kept very clean. The location is so ideal because across the street is the beach, and a short walk into the village assures you won't need your car. It was also far enough away from the village for a peaceful night where all you heard was the ocean. Can't wait to return!

Room Tip: The beach house is perfect for 2 couples, or parents with a couple of kids.

Thanks for the fantastic review. Our Beach House is one of most popular accommodations and fills up fast year round. As you stated.... it is the perfect family private getaway with the Gulf of Mexico just across the street less than 25 feet away. Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon.

This was our third stay at Tropical Breeze Resort. We booked two days in a one-bedroom suite and found it to still be a good choice. On the "plus" side, we found our unit to be clean, close to the beach with an updated bathroom and kitchen. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the no-charge continental breakfast is adequate and overall, the rates are very reasonable. Before I mention any negative items, it's also worth mentioning that compared to some other Gulf Coast resort areas, Siesta Key is generally a pretty laid-back place and accommodations/"cottages" can show some "rustic" qualities. Some of the furniture is in need of repair and as a previous reviewer noted, the mattresses have had a full life....my back didn't like the one in our suite very much. But, I feel that it is important to point out that the struggling US economy has had a dramatic impact on Florida Gulf Coast tourism. All things considered, it's a three-minute walk to the #1 beach in the US, plus the owners and staff of Tropical Breeze do a commendable job. To me, minor negatives would be an old non-HD television with a very poor picture and the lack of an exercise room. The resort did have an exercise room in the past but eliminated it. We also experienced a good bit of barking from nearby guest's dogs. This trip reinforced my feeling that I like to avoid accommodations that accept dogs, and the guests that fail to control them. Finally, I felt that security was an issue on this visit. During day 1, I locked our key card in our unit. An office employee that had never seen me before readily handed me a replacement key card. I appreciate her desire to be helpful, but I should have been asked for ID in that case. On day 2, after being away from our unit for a couple of hours, we came back to find the front door open/ajar. I went to the office to express my concern and was told that in all likelyhood the maid had left the door open for one moment and would return immediately. That turned-out not to be the case, we never saw the maid and there is no doubt in my mind that the maid simply forgot to close the door. We did not experience any loss of property but it could have turned-out much differently. No harm done....but it's something that owners need to address.

We checked in and liked our cottage, wish I had a pool right there but there were a few in walking distance so all was well. The beds need to get new matterasses as those have been well "played" many time before. Would defininitely stay again, nice and helpful staff and a walk to beach or a block to dinner, ice cream etc, ALL GOOD!! We will return. Cool you can bring your dog too.

Room Tip: Sorry we missed the fitness center and and restaurant- I am sure they were good!
