I love bread, but try not to eat it very often... and when I do, I want the BEST!!! A Taste of Germany DEFINITELY provides that! They have all my favorites from my many years living in Germany, and since their focus is on the whole grains, I felt great about eating it. The sandwiches were phenomenal, with tastes you just don't see in your average American sandwich joint. My personal favorite is pretty much any sandwich, with herbed cream cheese on the carrot triangle roll. The roll is hearty with whole grains, and the fresh grated carrot throughout makes an amazingly moist roll.

The proprietors are friendly, and bring a wonderful international flavor to your visit. I could have spent HOURS drinking rich coffee, munching on delicious (and NOT overly sweet) German cakes, and visiting auf Deutsch!

Want a great place to just RELAX? Head to A Taste of Germany - you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

Family atmosphere, great food and good prices.. They go above and beyond in their service and willingness to please you. Stop by some time when you are in the village and grab a cup of coffee and great conversation while your order is being prepared!

I came into the bakery to look around, I am always on the key. Such a delight to meet Tanya, the owner and her son. They told me about all the German ingredients they have shipped over to make their desserts. They have German sandwiches, German coffee and even a few items to make German dishes at home, I wish them luck.
