This property is constructed out of nothing more than a paper and sticks. (Shame Irma didn’t cause the need for a rebuild)

We were unfortunate enough to be given a room on the first floor (property only has 2 floors) where we were able to hear everything from all adjoining rooms and from the room immediately above us.

Through these paper thin walls, floors and ceilings guests can hear the constant delights of:
1. Others flushing toilets and all bowel / bladder movements and flatus.
2. All sexual activity from the room above. (Admittedly first night only)
3. All conversations from adjoining rooms.
4. All cupboard doors being opened and closed.
5. All footsteps inside and outside.
6. 12 Hours of non stop daily construction work from adjoining property (welcome to hell)
7. All interior doors of adjoining rooms being opened and closed.
8. All waste water draining away.
9. Chairs dragging across floors.
10. Noisy a/c units placed outside but behind your headboard.

I could go on but you get the picture. The rooms (units) are basic, no frills what you see on websites is what you get, with the exception of the buildings own integrity.

Our room 100 had a balcony which we paid extra for, although did not use it due to the building construction work noise. The balcony has lovely palms, in which we found soiled ladies knickers stuffed into the , frongs of one of the palms, house keeping missed this, so we left them there for the next guest to enjoy!

Despite representations no alternate room offered or discount / compensation.

We asked for discount for continual noise disturbances nothing given so we will persist in recovering and perusing this.

We asked if checking out early was possible and refundable was told no so we persevered. We originally booked for 4 (long) nights, loving siesta key we decided to stay longer just not at this god damn property.

We checked out, received no apology, and promptly checked into another resort for a further 2 nights.

This property is about 3 miles away from the village where the shops, bars and restaurants are.

The beach yes the sand is stunning the route there no so. The beach access walkway along side the Regency, littered with soiled diapers. Then the beach, al seams private an we were asked to move several times, no signage, or information advising where we should sit on a bloody beach.

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and relaxing vacation this property is not for you!

We vacation each year to siesta key but will never be staying here again.
Third world countries offer better units / accommodation than this.

We have stayed at The Beach Cub Resort for the past two summers. The units are large and spacious with a great proximity to the beach. You are only a five minute walk from the beach. The rooms are spacious and have a modern decor. The kitchen is top class with great appliances and everything you need to cook wonderful meals. All you have to do is buy groceries and you can cook wonderful meals to save money. There are several grocery stores nearby. In fact, one of the local markets is within walking distance. The staff are wonderful. The price per day is very reasonable for what you get.

Family of 4 2 adults, 2 children stayed for a couple of nights in 100D. The room was very pleasing upon arrival. The bedroom is tiny but its ok! The room has been updated with high quality fixtures. Good sized kitchen and well stocked with things you may need. The pool was central to the rooms. Complex is kept clean. Tina on reception was very friendly and happy to share her local knowledge. Our AC stopped working but after making a phone call (had to hold for for approx 25 mins) an engineer fixed it within the hour. Our room was serviced but unfortunately the toilet roll was not replenished, floors were not cleaned and the bed was not made. This was not a big deal to us as we were only staying 2 nights but we would have expected these things to be done each day. The location to the beach is superb. There is a 7 eleven 2 mins walk to stock up at. We would book this accommodation again.

An extremely nice property, well kept, clean and up to date. The location is convenient, easy to find however it's a bit of a walk to the incredible beach. No complaints, only the walk keeping it at 4 stars.

Awesome location and very quiet. My mom and I came here for a R & R long weekend. Our 2 bedroom room was huge and more than enough room to accommodate the 2 of us. It was very clean and plenty of glasses and dishes etc in the kitchen. The bathrooms were very large and pretty. The grounds were beautiful and a minute walk to the beach. They had plenty of chairs, umbrella's & complimentary beach towels for our sunbathing on the beautiful white sand beach. I would definitely return here. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as a free trolley to take us down to the village area. I could live there! Fantastic! We didn't use the pool but it was super clean and peaceful.

Room Tip: rooms are huge
