Love the Korean shortribs and the skirt steak. Great atmosphere. Guitarist very talented. Servers were in the weeds otherwise would have given 5 rating.

“Delicious and delightful!”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Love this restaurant. It's in a small cottage (thus the name), and is beach casual. Wonderful ceviche, salads and fish tacos. And they even have a burger for those who prefer meat to fish. You can sit on the front porch, inside or in the back garden. This is the sister restaurant to Selva Griile in downtown Sarasota. Also excellent!

“Beautiful Presentation . . .”

. . . and delicious food to match. We had the mahi mahi sliders and tuna tiradito - shasimi-grade tuna layered with watermelon - yum! The live guitarist was fantastic, but the amplification made it a little hard to have easy conversation.

“Lunch really hit the spot!”
Reviewed December 28, 2013 via mobile

Came at 1pm on a Saturday. Sat on the outdoor patio, watching people going by. Had an excellent dish of tuna and watermelon, but the black mussels with white wine lemon butter sauce were sublime.
