“Excellent food & atmosphere”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

I completely enjoyed my dining experience at The Cottage last night. I started with a refreshing vodka sweet raspberry tea beverage as I settled into the relaxing environment with happy people around me and music playing in the background. For dinner I had a very tasty seared Wahoo fillet mango and roasted potatos and spinach. A friendly patron next to me shared her roasted pine nuts which were flavorful. I will be going back at every opportunity.

“Try the Watermelon/Jalepeno Mojito!”

If you like spice... try this drink. A taste explosion! But drink it quick while the ice is still there... after a while it gets overwhelming (probably good to share with someone)

Once again, service was great (thanks Hannah). Food and drinks were amazing. I would recommend trying this place and asking for Hannah (she makes the best drinks). Can't wait to go back!

“Good Apps”

We did appetizers rather than dinner. Oysters Rockefeller were wonderful but the best thing we chose was a side dish of garlic risotto. Fantastic. It's loud and we were not overwhelmed with the staff, but it's a unique place for a small village and if we had a better service experience we might have like it much more.

“YUM!!!!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

As a reviewer and rater for Tripadvisor, we decided to try Cottage out based upon our peers. We were not disappointed. To keep costs down, we suggest you try their happy "hour" menu. The crab sliders were awesome and enough for a light meal for one person. The wild ceviche was also very flavorful and met all expectations. The drink specials were satisfying and very flavorful. It was off-season and a weekday when we visited, so I can't comment on the music. We're looking forward to our next visit during on-season to experience the full flavor of the Cottage.
