We chose the Blu Que island grill as a last night out for dinner before heading back home to frigid michigan. Our reservation for 7 was made on opentable.com (we were told to make our reservation this way, since there was no manager on staff to take our reservation when we stopped by at 11:30 in the morning ) When we arrived for dinner, we were crammed in a small booth and told that they had us down as a party of 3, instead of 7. Meanwhile, there were larger tables open near us. As far as the food goes, the ribs and chicken were fair. Live entertainment was awesome. The siesta key oyster bar and daiquiri deck both had much better food.

We walked in on a Thursday evening and asked for specific seating. We waited at the bar for our table for less than 20 minutes. While we were waiting we enjoyed some fun conversations & drinks. The hostess kept coming over to let us know she did not forget about us. When we were seated our waitress came to the table quickly to offer her service. The food was served promptly & we both enjoyed our meals. Very friendly vibe with great service all around.
