“False Advertizing”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Went to BluQue today to celebrate two birthdays. Had planned this for weeks to enjoy the all you can eat lobsters for $35 which I had bragged about to all my friends. We arrived early, at 3 pm, to partake of all the other half price deals etc, plus one of our party had to be home early that eve. All their print ads state 'Wednesday All you can Eat Lobsters $35 -all day long.' Well, we were advised by a fledging bar person that they would not be ready to start serving lobsters until 5 pm. Made him double check, and he came back with the same answer. Downer for us, so no real reason to stay. Spoke to a female manager about an hour later as we were leaving, who said we should have spoken with her!!!! Well, where had she been earlier, and who had the bar person spoken to!!!???? She said she would check to see if they were ready to cook them. Huh!!!! Where is she coming from!!!! If you have the lobsters in the cooler, throw them in the pot and voila in about 15 to 20 minutes they are ready. I am a lobster affectionado. Last time there I had 10, but helas, I will never go back nor recommend this place due to their false advertising. Their loss.

“Great music!”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

The food and drinks weren't my favorite, but I was very pleased with the friendly staff and great music! We went on a Sunday and we jammed all night.

“Great Place and Atmosphere”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

Went here for the first time and the service and food was really good. My girlfriend had the lobster and I had shrimp which was very good. I also got the mac and cheese balls and they were the best of the best. There was also a band playing outside which was nice to sit out on the deck and enjoy music. Also has inside seating if you do not want to listen to the band.

“Burned Flab!”
Reviewed November 12, 2013 via mobile

We had been staying away because of lousy reviews and the burned flesh smoke diffusers which force guests to inhale acrid fumes. What an outrageously dumb idea. Like trying to done in a smokers car withe the windows up. Q Sampler terrible. Smoking poor quality meats does not improve them. Brisket mostly gelatinous white flab. Chicken and pork gristly. Sauces are Cattlemans from grocery store. Cocktails and bartender nice but Titos @ $10 a pop overpriced. What was it better when it was called Blue Smoke?

“Just Average”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

We were hoping for a great BBQ place but the food was just average. They have BBQ scented mist coming out of small pipes around the perimeter of the outdoor seating area. This assures that you will leave smelling like a BBQ sandwich. The service was friendly but the whole place is tired and in need a a little elbow grease.
