Reading the reviews was expecting much better. My wife had the ribs which were moist and well cooked but nothing special - the spicing was somewhat bland relying on a selection of commercial sauces that were varied and served squeegee style. I had the ahi tuna starter with the home made potato chips with blue cheese dressing / basalmic reduction. The fries were incredibly overlooked and just tasted burnt - was told they were dark potatoes and that was the way they were - maybe they should use regular potatoes where it is easier to see when they are cooked. The tuna presentation was great and unique - in a martini glass - tuna was average quality and seaweed salad was overpowering. Bottom line - we live close by and there are so many good restaurants so will not be returning. Maybe should have had local fish catches but suspect it would. Ot make that much difference. But has reminded me that I need to write more reviews of our local restaurants - many of which are really good.
