Several years ago I came here for a visit and knew I would move back and make this my home. Siesta Key Beach is absolutely beautiful with waters that can remind you of being in the Caribbean. The white quartz sand, that never gets hot, is gorgeous and reminds me of flour. There are plenty of sea life creatures to enjoy, especially the dolphins and the manatees! One day, I swam with a manta ray!! It is always fun, but also a great place to relax too! You will never want to leave this beautiful beach!! Enjoy!

There's a reason this beach has made it into several Best categories over the years. This year 2017 it made it into the number 5 position for the Most beautiful beaches in the world! That's a huge feat if you ask me. Where do I start? Calm see through ocean waters, White sand, one of the whitest I've ever seen. And, the feel, get ready to take your shoes OFF and keep them off! The sand stays cool to the touch even in 100 degree weather due to it being 99.9 percent quartz crystal. This is one of the reasons it sets this beach apart from the rest. Siesta Key Beach is truly amazing, a beach that belongs on a bucket list and you don't have to travel to unknown places to see it!

Of course it's #1 Beach. It has it all - parking for hundreds, a wide expanse of white sugar sand. And this sand isn't just sugar, it is confectioner's sugar so you sink in a little and squeak softly with every step. Lots of room for everyone, a laid-back vibe and great shelling at low tide Lots of nesting birds and areas of protected vegetation. All beautiful. Sunsets are spectacular and on Sunday evenings there is a drum circle concert between 5 and 7 p.m.

The beach was recommended by a few local friends. We Pulled in to beach parking on access #11. Sand was so soft, like powdered sugar. there were also plenty of public restrooms at the two city snack bars.

The sand is like powdered sugar and is very clean. It isn't overcrowded with the exception of spring break. The sunsets are amazing. Shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.
