What an amazing beach. This beach is extremely clean for starters. The sand is so soft it is like baby powder. It gets compacted so hard as well since it is so soft. Walking the beach tonight you can not only watch lighting storms off the coast which are amazing but you can see where there are sea turtle nests. We were even able to see a cracked egg which was so amazing. Another cool point is that you can act find sea shells on the beach and how it looks at night is simply amazing.

First of all the sand is like walking on baby powder. It is both cool and soft. The water of the gulf was a lot warmer than I expected and the surf was a lot gentler than the Atlantic. We spent about two hours there right before sunset and it was fantastic. The water was so clear that we could see the small fish swimming around our feet. My wife loved the temperature of the water while I prefer the cooler Atlantic.

Spending a weekend with my family was great at a great hotel and at a great beach! The sand was not hot to the touch due to the quartz, very clean and clear emerald green waters and great people. It's not like any other beach I've been to thus far! Excellent for the frail elderly, just grab a rental chair and you're in heaven. Even for the newbies, the water is so calm that if you want a little ones first time at the beach to be a memorable one, take 'em down to Siesta Beach! Great for all ages, great shaved ice, concession stands, free parking, volleyball courts for those who are competitive. So much seating for large parties, do a bar-b-que or a grill hot dogs and hamburgers. great, great beach, also very close to shops so for those with the extended vacation (which I recommend doing to suck in all the great sun) you can shop for any needs just a few miles away! GREAT, GREAT, definitely going again!!

Bring you own umbrellas, you can get burnt easily! Sunset is beautiful there. Sometime you can see how the sand gets a light pink color...

Miles of miles of sugar white and powdery soft sand with views that dreams are made of. I'm sure in season it is hard to find parking. We were there in off season and had no problem parking and enjoying. Sun-sational.
