“WHITE SAND, CALM WATERS, GREAT PARKING!”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Spending a weekend with my family was great at a great hotel and at a great beach! The sand was not hot to the touch due to the quartz, very clean and clear emerald green waters and great people. It's not like any other beach I've been to thus far! Excellent for the frail elderly, just grab a rental chair and you're in heaven. Even for the newbies, the water is so calm that if you want a little ones first time at the beach to be a memorable one, take 'em down to Siesta Beach! Great for all ages, great shaved ice, concession stands, free parking, volleyball courts for those who are competitive. So much seating for large parties, do a bar-b-que or a grill hot dogs and hamburgers. great, great beach, also very close to shops so for those with the extended vacation (which I recommend doing to suck in all the great sun) you can shop for any needs just a few miles away! GREAT, GREAT, definitely going again!!

“Nice white sand!”

Bring you own umbrellas, you can get burnt easily! Sunset is beautiful there. Sometime you can see how the sand gets a light pink color...

“Miles and Miles”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Miles of miles of sugar white and powdery soft sand with views that dreams are made of. I'm sure in season it is hard to find parking. We were there in off season and had no problem parking and enjoying. Sun-sational.

“Where the sand and sun meet the gulf of Mexico.”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

The strip of white sand called Siesta Key beach along the Southwest coast of Florida was named "The best beach in America". Why? It simply is the nicest white sand beach you will ever see, You will be surrounded by expansive white sand, tall palm trees and swaying sea oats. You will see sea gulls, pelicans and dolphins at play. Whether you just set and relax, swim in the warm Gulf waters or stroll along at your own pace this is the place to be. If you take the family or you are seeking the night life in the village, there is something for everyone. There are great restaurants, bars and beaches all over Siesta Key. If you have never been to the west coast of Florida do yourself a favor and make Siesta key and Sarasota you next Florida vacation stop. When you get Siesta Key sand in your shoes you might not want to go home.See you at the beach.

“Gorgeous beach, truly magical place!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Siesta Key beach is like no other beach we have been to, we live just 2 hours away and this is the only beach where the sand is 99% quarts making it sugar white, super soft and cooler than the sand at other nearby beaches. The water is great, lots of ocean birds to watch and the best sunset I have ever seen. We stayed there all day and didn't want to leave. There where lots of natural pools filled with small fish. If you are going to one beach in Florida this should be it!
