“I don't get it.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

The sand is nice for strolling and riding a bicycle and the sunsets are stunning. That is where is ends for me. The water is a murky green and in August it is so warm it becomes uncomfortable. Every summer I spend a week there with my extended family. I go because I enjoy spending time with them. But, I prefer the cooler clearer waters of the Atlantic on the eastern shores of Florida and the Caribbean islands.

“5 Star Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

There can't be a more perfect beach. Quartz sand, always white & always cool to the touch, pristine turquoise water, abundant sea life, & an amazing beach for walking or running, never dirty & few shells to get in your way.Tourists from many countries visit this beach and come back on a regular basis. Well worth a visit.....you will want to come back!

“Siesta Key and Crescent Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

I have been vacationing on Siesta Key for over 20 years, and currently own a one-week time share on Crescent Beach. Actually, the Siesta Key Public Beach is just a small part of the extensive Crescent Beach. The other reviews say it all about the beauty and quality of the beach, but there are other fun things to do besides sunbathe and walk. The drum circle on Sunday evenings at sunset at the public beach is a great experience, and often you'll see some fantastic kite-flying during the day. Siesta Key Village has a number of great Key West-style bars and restaurants, and nearby Sarasota has some great sidewalk cafes, art galleries, opera, concerts, and the Ringling mansion with its art museum, circus museum, and Asolo Theater. Contact the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce for their list of condos available for rent for one or more weeks.
