Just a fabulous white sand beach with water which you can feel safe in. Catch a look at the dolphins too!

Soft white sand. Wide beach, shallow water - excellent! They also have volleyball and bbq available, plus a small snack shack.

I usually arrive at one of the smaller parking areas between 6 and 7 in the morning. To early for the "sunworshippers" and "beach bunnies" yet the beach is busy with other walkers out to get their morning excercise. The sand is hard near the water and perfect for walking. With the beach about 5 miles long, it is easy to get in a walk from a short distance to the full 10 miles. I enjoy watching my fellow walkers as much as I do the lovely scenery. Plus after my walk it is a short walk into Siesta Village for some breakfast. Aaaah the joys of retirement
