“It's Cold Outside.”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

Walking in from the winter cold.... "Thank goodness it's warm". Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived, the unit was warm and wine was supplied. Unit 1 accomodated 4 adults comfortably and no-one could pick a fault with any part of the unit. It was warm (did i mention that before), clean, interesting, had the perfect location and was reasonably priced. Booking accomodation on the internet can result in disappointment, not in this case. Everything was as advertised and I would recommend 43 Degrees Bruny Island to even the most demanding of people. Thanks Erica and Peter. Oh and breakfast was wonderful, Brian and Keryn

My boys and I stayed here in the May school holidays this year and it was just magic. Beautifully appointed and warm and welcoming, with a fab kitchen and bathroom. The location is perfect for serene sea views and easy access to the jetty and the terrific sea cruise we enjoyed. Each morning we were given a delicious continental breakfast with home made croissants and bread, jams etc, we loved waking up to this each day! A welcoming bottle of wine when we first arrived was so appreciated too.If you want to be spoiled and super comfortable, you have to try 43 Degrees Bruny Island.

Room Tip: Both units are perfect!

We stayed here in February and I was going to write review back then but this place didn't exist in Trip Advisor so it took awhile to get it added. I see already two other people have reviewed this place since then!

The cottages were fantastic, right across from the jetty which is so handy if you do the cruise. We did and got rained on quite badly, it was lovely to race back to the cottage and warm up and relax. My favourite part was the fresh baked ciabatta loaf with croissants in the morning. The owners were friendly and gave my husband some sea sickness tablets for our cruise.

The cottage itself is lovely with wood featured everywhere, the shower is lovely and big. The bed had electric blankets which we needed on our second night. The kitchen funtions well and we enjoyed eating on the deck. I would stay here again!

Room Tip: There are only two and both seem good.

Even for a one night stay this place was wonderful. Location is perfect, the drive from the ferry gave the chance to see much on the way with a stop at The Cheese Factory for a snack, and some exercise at The Neck. Accommodation could not be faulted. It's private, beds extremely comfortable, bathroom roomy with superb shower, kitchen had everything ( love it when they choose quality coffee AND tea). Manager (or could be owner, we didn't ask) came over later in the day for a nice chat. Answered all our questions, good advice on the cruise and where to eat. Even offered seasick pills for me, though I had my own. Pleasant surprise was complementary wine and yummy breakfast of hot croissants and freshly baked ciabatta loaf. It was heaps for 3 of us. We were in Tassie a week and 43 was number one of our changing accommodations, and not the most expensive. There are nice walks, we saw a white wallaby (very rare), and were fortunate to have perfect days and spectacularly clear nights that made great photographing of The Milky Way. Book early as there are only 2 units.

Stayed at the gorgeous eco apartment for 1 night after doing the Bruny Island Cruise. Was straight across the road in Adventure Bay from where the cruise left. Very comfortable and clean with everything you'd need. Extra special to be greeted with a bottle of wine on arrival and then in the morning with hot home cooked bread and crossiants! Plunger coffee. It was a delightful stay. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: There are only 2 x apartments and both are gorgeous.
