“Where everybody knows your name”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2013 via mobile

I've been eating at Plummer's for over 20 years. It is a local spot where staff and customers are friendly. Food is good, coffee is refilled before you ask and prices are reasonable. You see the same folks in here on the same days. Like Cheers everyone knows your name. The waitress has my coffee in her hand when she drops off the menu. I watch the locals stop at other tables to visit. The food, the friendly staff and the sense of community keep customers coming back. Great local diner.

“Everyday down home cooking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

If you want variety & good down home cooking, this is your place. Daily specials, fresh vegetables, soups made from scratch. From burgers to Reubens, fries to tots this is cooking at it's best. Friendly family run restaurant with great prices. For the price at a fast food place how about all you can eat Catfish with 3 sides & iced cold tea?

“Please visit this place Robert Irvine!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza. The decor was an immediate turnoff but we were gonna give it a try. The menus were handwritten and dirty. Waitress was not dressed neatly or clean. There was Southern food offered but no Southern hospitality. Food was decent but the whole time I didn't want to think about cooking practices in the kitchen or the condition of bathroom. One of give waitresses just started mopping without sweeping. Wouldn't go back.

“Nestled in the Corner is a Diamond in the Rough”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

Nestled in the corner of this Walmart shopping center area is this locally operated restauraunt. I have been going to this area for nearly seven years and never saw it tucked in the corner. Wanted a real restaurant that was not a chain or fast food this time and found this. This one proved to be a winner. Had the chef salad and it was chocked full of goodies for under $6.. On this day, they had pepper pot homemade soup that was exceptional. Apparently a fresh soup everyday. Business associate had chicken salad that was fresh and tasty. This is home cooking and the place where you go for a good meal. They even sell fresh vegables at the checkout. The walls are adorned with several themes to include cows, Armwood High School football and other items that customers bring in. The cocount cream pie was delicious with a light crust that made you want to eat more. Lots of variety on the menu. The daily specials are handwritten out on a piece of paper and copied! This is one spot I weill return to in the future. If you are travelling I-4 you can get off and head south for about five minutes and you will find it. If you are on I-75 get off and go East five minutes and you will find it. So easy to get to off the main roads but worth the trip. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms.
