“Good food and great prices”

The fried green tomatoes were awesome and the hambugers are made with fresh meat, not frozen. They had a very good selection of food with great prices.

“Popular, Friendly Local Diner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2013

Sebring Diner is a bright landmark on US 27. I stopped here recently for lunch. Since I was by myself, I sat at the counter and had an excellent waitress, who served some great iced tea and one of the many daily specials, which in my case was chicken and dumplings. This place is quite popular, especially with the older, retired crowd in Sebring. You can tell that some people are regulars here. Sebring Diner is a nice alternative to a fast-food meal or eating at a Denny's and is a good value.

“One good meal, one bad meal”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Breakfast was very good. However, lunch was terrible and we should have sent it back. Don't get the steak sub with peppers and onions. Extremely dry, the meat was thin like roast beef and cut into half-inch squares. The peppers and onions were even smaller. Cheese was not melted. Everything was falling out of the sandwich and it was extremely dry. Even bread was dry.

“Will make you think it's been here forever”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

Across much of America, we have a long and storied tradition of diners. Looking for a meal in an unfamiliar area? Find a family-owned diner that's been around for a few decades -- you'll probably leave happy and full.

So, when we drove through Sebring at lunchtime on a recent trip through Florida, we couldn't resist stopping here. Even though the restaurant hasn't been around as long as you might think, they've done a great job of transplanting the menu, decor, and overall style of a "real diner" to the middle of Florida.

The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and while they had plenty of traditional favorites (yankee pot roast, meatloaf, club sandwich) they also had some more creative offerings (pineapple, cream cheese, cucumber sandwich anyone?) and great hand-made variations (the onion rings were insanely good).

Everyone in our group of six found something to enjoy, and the price at the end was less than we expected.

It may not have the long history of some of the diners back home, but it'll do -- give me this over a chain any day.

“Great Food, Friendly Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013

This restaurant is where all the locals go......good food, and reasonable prices. We ate breakfast there and it was packed with the local folks who were treated like family by the employees. The locals frequent this restaurant often as they were all on a family. We would definitely go there again.
