We run on this track on a regular basis, its a really good time. plenty of room to let the car go. Facilities are acceptable, pit garage is a must unless you have your own rig. recomend getting an instructor to show you the lines.

The best views on race days are from the balconies of the Chateau Elan Hotel. They have great food there as well!

Although the facilities are a little old, the track is great. For its length it's quite compact, and since it's flat you can see more than on most tracks its size.

We went for the 12 hour endurance race this March. Gates opened Wednesday, we arrived Thursday, the race was on Saturday. What an AMAZING event! Even if you are not a race fan, you WILL enjoy this event. There truly is something for everybody. All walks of life and people from every corner on the globe combined with America's oldest road race make for a lifetime of memories. We met many people who have been going year after year for decades. It's not hard to understand why. From million-dollar motor homes, to tent cities and everything in between, you have to camp at the track to get the full experience. My only suggestion, if you have young children, you may not want to camp in Green Park as it gets somewhat rowdy at night. No where else can you get closer to the action. You can stroll up and down the paddock, talk with drivers, mechanics and race engineers. Bring comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, sunblock, plenty of water and be ready to have the time of your life! Cheap too. 4-day superpass tickets are around $100 and that gets you access to just about every part of the track except the VIP lounges above the pits.
