Yes, we all know about the Atocha and various other "big name" wrecks. But how fun to learn the lore of our local wrecks here on the Treasure Coast. Museum is small, but artifacts are presented well. Worth a visit!

This is more of a tourist trap than a museum unless you have a deep passion for diving for lost boats and treasure. I found it a total bore with a capital B and recommend you skip this place.

Via an excellent film and exhibits, the visitor experiences the joy and excitement of Mel's adventures and views some of the items recovered from his explorations. Some beautiful objects are on display and some are for sale.

We stopped by one afternoon just to see what this little place was all about. It is a neat place with lots of Artifacts from Ships that sank in the N. Atlantic ocean during the hurricanes of the 1700's. Lots o other finds!
