Via an excellent film and exhibits, the visitor experiences the joy and excitement of Mel's adventures and views some of the items recovered from his explorations. Some beautiful objects are on display and some are for sale.

We stopped by one afternoon just to see what this little place was all about. It is a neat place with lots of Artifacts from Ships that sank in the N. Atlantic ocean during the hurricanes of the 1700's. Lots o other finds!

I found it very interesting and appealing. It roused the Pirate in me and made me marvel at men like Mel Fisher who unabashedly follow their dreams.

Incredible displays of incredible treasures recovered from the Atocha. Bring some money and buy an old recovered coin. There is so much to see in this museum allow an hour or so to browse all the eye candy of treasures.

If you have been to the Mel Fisher Museum in Key West then skip this one. The one in Key West is better.
