Clean, comfortable rooms. Room we stayed in seemed a little dated in decoration but that was no big deal. Short walk to the circle where there was nice shopping and some great restaurants. The beach is just across the street from the hotel. Wonderful beach.

Stayed Sat/Sun night during Spring Break. Check in & check out was painless. Gorgeous sunset and beach views from our balcony. Even witnessed a beach wedding! Room was nicely appointed & colors refreshing. Ate in the restaurant Sat evening close to 8pm. Very slow, only 4 tables but our server was overwhelmed with 2 servers on. Food was surprisingly delicious. Ample parking and a short walk to town shops. Lovely area.

This is a typical Holiday Inn,but the location is fantastic. It is right across the street from the beautiful Lido Beach and just a few blocks to walk to St. Armand's Circle. The rooms were outdated and worn, but the location makes up for it. Maid service was good and staff was very friendly. You can rent beach chairs and umbrellas at the entrance to the beach. Pool was nice, but a little too small for the amount of people there.

Room tip: Be sure to get a gulf view room!

We picked this hotel because it was close to the beach and St Armands area. Also because they are pet friendly. Hotel was very clean and updated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They provide a small dog walk area with waste bags behind the hotel. I booked room through TripAdvisor and thought this was my only fee. Upon checkout i received an additional bill of $25 per day for resort fee. Not happy with this fee. And by no means was this hotel a resort. Be careful of hidden fees when booking.

Thank you for your feedback. As a beach destination hotel, we differ in our offerings from many Holiday Inns. Our Resort Fee assists with parking, pool and beach towels, bottled water daily in your guest room, etc. We are working hard to ensure that the fee is known to all guests prior to their arrival at the hotel.

This place could be a real destination, instead it is a below average Holiday Inn at a premium price. It has an amazing view and location. Housekeeping is very nice. As stated, bathroom needs update. There is one gentleman during the day at the front desk who is great. The evening front desk staff were not helpful at all. I asked one employee a question and he kept walking, I thought he hadn't heard me, so I walked toward him toward the front desk (where he now was) and with his head facing the wall he answered my question without my repeating it. (Obviously he had heard me.). I will look extensively for any other accommodations rather than returning here, despite being an ihg platinum member.
