Went with a friend and It wasn't as dirty as a lot of bars in town, but there isn't much to it either. It's about the size of a luxury prison cell, and all they serve is beer. As with most bars around here there were quite a few questionable characters hanging around staring at any woman in there like a creepy old maaton the back of a strip club. No food either and you still can't smoke inside.
Anyway, I wouldn't go back but like I said there are bars that are certainly worse than this one.
The 210 Tavern came under new ownership Feb.1, 2013 and we are constantly seeking feedback from our patrons on what can be done to make our bar a place to enjoy and frequent. While we would love to make everyone happy, we know in reality that's just not possible. At the 210 we pride ourselves on cleanliness throughout the establishment and we will open every door of the bar, to anyone, to show just how clean we are. Yes the 210 is just a beer and wine bar, but we do have an extensive variety of domestics, imports and crafts as well as some quality wine choices, always served at the proper temperature with great prices. As well we are constantly rotating stock to bring in variety and seasonal offerings.
As for our patrons, variety is the spice of life, and in the short time we have been open we have created many new friendships, we have had zero incidents and in fact we have many single ladies who will come in, by themselves to relax with a cold beverage, because they feel comfortable in our bar. If there was anything or anybody that made a patron feel uncomfortable, we would hope they would immediately bring this to the attention of one of the bartenders and let us address it.
Yes we are a small tavern, just around 1200 sq ft, and yes we will remain non-smoking, we will continue to evolve (outdoor seating coming soon) and if that first visit did not meet your expectations, we hope another visit down the road will change your mind. As an owner I would be happy to discuss any concerns face to face, we have no hard feelings with criticism, just let me know when. Cheers!!
