Sweetberries is always busy because their frozen custard is some of the best in the area. If you like chocolate, be sure and try the Razz-Ma-Tazz - chocolate custard with raspberries and almonds. Their special custard each day is called a "concrete." Can't explain the name, but it's worth trying. The rest of the food offerings are good also. I went there this time just to get the Black Bean and Sausage Soup which is delicious and is on the menu almost every day.

This is our favorite icecream place in Sarasota. They make their own and it is so creamy you will want to go back the next day.

Depending on when you get here, you will wait for your order. This place gets PACKED on a nice Florida evening. And rightly so, they have delicious frozen custard! Our favorite is the SIesta Key Sunset. It is vanilla custard, peaches, black berries and raspberries all blended together. Fantastic.

A word of advice, it's a bit expensive so my wife and I get a large (3 scoops) to share. If you each get your own 1 scoop it is actually more expensive than one large one. We have tried various other flavors but the Siesta Key is our personal favorite but the plain vanilla with strawberries and whipped cream comes in at a close second! Truly outstanding custard! Oh yeah, the service is almost always very good with the young staff, even if you have to wait a bit.
