Caragiulo's is a very popular spot on my favorite block in Sarasota--lined with nifty shops and galleries. The restaurant is casual and has a great vibe, friendly and fun. Food is dependably good, especially the pastas and pizzas, and reasonably priced. On a recent visit I shared a pizza and 1989 salad with my companion. Both were outstanding. Even though we live in Chicago, we prefer a Neopolitan-style pizza, and Caragiulo's delivers a credible version.
