We were invited to join new friends who always book a table in the band area. Special drink and appetizer prices last until 7 p.m. so we arrived about 6:15 p.m. for our table and ordered. Service was prompt and great. The mussels were a nicely priced appetizer, sized for one. The shrimps were also nice. House wines standard. The band plays most Thursdays, starting at 7, and develops its sets such that the first is usually jazzy with a bit of country, evolving to more pop and rock later in the evening. The musicians are fantastically talented. We ordered pizza and the burger platter. The pizza is really excellent thin crust work. The hamburger gets high marks also. As chill descended, the gas heaters were lit and turned up, toasting us nicely. It's all streetside, so the dog-walkers and the bikers and the cars roll by, but the torch-lit fence-line seems to create a pleasant enough boundary for all, and we had a lovely time, leaving about the time the rock music began. Reserve a table!
