We were in town for the lacrosse beach festival and not only did this hotel give our group a great rate they donated a portion to the charity the lacrosse festival was for. Great location, clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, and excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

I can't say enough nice things about the management, staff and hotel. We took sanctuary here during Hurricane Irma. I'm ever so grateful .The staff that remained here were caring, comforting and always visible. The manager , Nick, was five star outstanding. He constantly circulated around the facility to make sure that everyone's needs were met. He even had a friend park a very expensive mobile home across the front door to further secure our safety. They staff worked tirelessly and cohesively to address needs. There were quite a few older people here that were a handful. There were also dogs galore. When the power went out, we were all provided a flashlight. They made every effort to keep the stairwells lit with glow sticks or flashlights. The facility itself was a terrific shelter. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. The hurricane windows blocked most of the sound, as well as keeping us safe. The morning after , the manager had even arranged a breakfast buffet of sorts outside. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarasota. When you have out of town guests that you want guaranteed white gloved treatment this is the hotel to book. Staying there through Irma, I felt it was like Mom and Dad were there taking care of us. The staff was so compassionate, attentive to our needs and expressed sincere concern and assurance for our safety. The hotel floors were mopped daily, the halls and stairway smelled fresh and clean and flash lights were provided door to door for all guests. Every level of Staff was always cheerful and you could feel management efficiency and organization throughout. Kudos to Nick, Judy and Chris for your amazing management . Thank you Tracy for getting us booked and Jesus for carrying all our heavy boxes and luggage. Thank you to all front desk, food and housekeeping staff you made our stay complete.

My wife, our daughter, and I were evacuated from our home on Siesta Key during Hurricane Irma. We found lodging away from the storm surge at Comfort Suites. It was a blessing. For three days the facility was without power. There were elderly guests with mobility challenges, children, and animals everywhere, along with normally capable folks reduced to neediness, as result of the storm. Nick (GM) and Chris (Op. Dir.), along with the entire office staff, were on the job the entire time. The housekeeping staff was dependable and very pleasant. It was an immensely difficult situation and the men and women of Comfort Suites did not let their company down. It is a pleasure writing this review for the people that just recently helped my family and many others in a time of need.

My entire family was in need of a shelter at the very last minute due to Hurricane Irma approaching our city. Hotel manager Nick Mavrikas was able to get us a room for three nights throughout the entire hurricane ordeal. Five stars are not enough for this hotel. It was booked solid with very anxious people and their anxious pets. Nick and his crew went above and beyond to make all guests feel safe and welcomed. The hurricane windows were a godsend - we could barely hear the blowing winds as the hurricane descended on Sarasota. Every guest was equipped with flashlights just in case the power went out. It wasn't until the very the end of the storm that the hotel lost power but Nick had the generators ready to go so that we were still able to have hot coffee as the hurricane moved out of our city. Nick and crew provided all guests with delicious muffins, fruit, bagels and water after a very stressful 36 hours of anticipation of Irma. As multiple guests were leaving the hotel Sunday late morning, Nick and his staff, who did not sleep at all due to keeping an eye on the entire complex, still graciously helped us check out. Not only was the entire staff visible and on call for the three days we were at the hotel, but even Nick's family was visible helping and assisting anxious guests. From this point forward, as long as Nick Mavrikas is managing the Comfort Suites, we will only recommend this hotel to our out-of-town guests!!! Nick and the Comfort Suite staff are our heroes!!!!
