Just happened to discover this place by chance. It is in a shopping mall behind CHili's.
The ceviche is amazing, fresh and delicious. The menu is great with lots of choices.
Our waiter, Javier, was very knowledgeable. Everyhting about this meal was perfect and we got to sit outside. Will definitely return again and again. Gracias, Inkanto!!

My wife and I are always searching for new places to eat in Sarasota. After reading the reviews on this restaurant from trip advisor, we called another couple and asked them to join us.

We were very pleased at the inside of the restaurant. It was neat, clean and well put together. The outside and the strip mall location truly do this place an unjust. The staff were warm and welcoming and the service was professional and informative. The Peruvian wines were very drinkable as well as the Peruvian beers.

All four of us ordered something different and shared our meals "family style" which was the way to go. Here are some of the dishes that stood out: the calamari was probably the best I've had almost anywhere. Their version of "Tatar sauce" was a nice compliment. The ceviche was nice and fresh, with just enough lime. The Yuca fries were a nice alternative to French fries and the picarones were delicious covered in Peruvian honey for dessert.

All in all it was a nice experience and a fun date night with couples. The sauces on some of the main courses may have been too overpowering for us, but we're not going to DING them for that, it may just be the way they do it in Peru.

I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

I went with a group of 10 to INKANTO in Sarasota. The first thing we noticed when we walked in were the beautiful pictures and the smiling faces of the women working there. The food was excellent, and our server, Fernando, knew what he was talking about. After we were done out delicious mix of steak, pasta, and rice, Fernando even gave us a tour of the pictures in the restaurant. Overall, we were very, very pleased with the restaurant, I recommend it to any group of any size.

This is a terrific restaurant, with a wide range of typical Peruvian foods, all served with panache. Our group of 5 was very pleasantly surprised. Since Peruvian food is some of the world's best, we are always on the lookout for new restaurants, and Inkanto did not disappoint! We tried everything from fried yucca with 3 sauces, to lomo saltado, aji de gallina and the ceviches. The presentation was lovely. We rounded it out with picarones (pumpkin fritters) for dessert. Even many of the restaurants in Lima do not serve picarones because they require time to rise and are labor-intensive, so we were elated to find them (and devour them!!). All in all, this restaurant is worth a trip back even from the other side of the state!!
