Jim bread making skills are awesome and his pastries are excellent. I love his baguette sandwiches. Great place to pick up for lunch or the pastries for breakfast.

“Great Bakery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 16, 2013

A wonderful spot in awesome Gulf Gate. With so many eateries around it's hard to choose. The Small Batch Bakery has a selection of soups and sandwiches and all the breads looked awesome. We opted for a piece of carrot cake and an Oreo brownie. Both were winners with the carrot cake having a wonderful frosting and whole pieces of walnuts and I wish I had thought of putting oreos on my brownies before. Great spot in a funky neighborhood.

“Worth seeking out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

What a treat. It is very tiny, one table outside and one inside. We had a wonderful breakfast stop. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I have had in a very long time. They also have daily
specials, breakfast sandwiches, soups and homemade ice cream. The bakery is at the end of a strip. Definitely worth the trip!

“Great quiche, breads,muffins, and croissants”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

Their quiche is the best I've ever had - creamy, savory - both the spinach & mushroom, and lorraine style also. I just ordered an entire quiche for my wife's birthday, it's such a treat. Their muffins are full of tasty fruit, and the croissants have that buttery but crispy texture, in the true french style. Maybe you'll get lucky, and show up on the day that they bake their Asiago bread - whole loaves disappear in a meal, they're so good!
