Finally a place we like on the Circle. Been to the Columbia, Cafe l'Europe, Crab & Fin. All just kinda so so. This place is far more interesting. Decor is what I would call "Spacely Sprockets goes to the beach, stopping in Denmark along the way to buy some furniture." Don't worry - it works. Juan our waiter was pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable, a rare combination for SW Florida. Food was just perfect. Not a bad dish. Fried chicken with honey hot sauce was light and juicy. "Jenga" ribs with Asian veggies were sweet and slightly smokey and perfectly done. Tuna sashimi and watermelon were very complementary, and the accompaniment edemame salad with ponzu had us scraping the plate clean. But the most memorable dish was a side of quinoa, spaghetti squash, and nuts - creamy, nutty, delish! Many thoughtful beer and wine selections. Quality recipes prepared and served by people who seem to care about food in a funky atmosphere. We will be back!
