“Happy Thanksgiving”
Reviewed December 2, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We ordered a Thanksgiving dinner from Morton's, and it was delicious. All of the sides were very good (including the extra ones we ordered), and the turkey gravy was totally out-of-this-world. The whole process was so easy; they even delivered the food to our door! One thing I would suggest is not to reheat the turkey too much, as is it already cooked. The directions provided suggested heating it to 165 degrees, but we only heated it to 99 degrees, and it was still a tad dry. If I were to do it over again, I would let the turkey sit at room temp for two hours, present it, and then heat up pieces on demand under the broiler. That being said, the food was delicious, and the service was great. We would do this again!

“Foodie heaven”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is a "supermarket" but you won't believe the charcuterie, the European quality, the variety. It rivals Bon Marche in Paris or Fortnum's in London. It's a hidden gem in a small residential shopping enclave just South of central Sarasota. Velvety Spanish goat cheese or Burgundian triple creme, fresh fish and meats, you name it. We picked up prepackaged and pre-spiced lentils for a veggie stew at home and it was stunningly good: pungent, savory, intriguing. If you're interested, they have a magnum of Chateau Beaucastel for $600, but a broad selection of less pricey vintages too. This place is not just a place to buy some food, it's worth some time to browse and linger; your appetite will increase. There's romance in the air there.

“Quality and tradition”
Reviewed November 21, 2013 via mobile

Morton's has been around for a long time, it has survived the big box stores and super market chains because it offers beautiful, quality food. The place to buy your meat; from a real butcher, prepared meals, amazing deli items and baked goods. One of my favorites is the curried ginger chicken salad. My husband, stops in for a hot bowl of chili. One of Sarasota's finest.

“Always wonderful”
Reviewed November 13, 2013 via mobile

This is a great deli and grocery store. They have such a variety of wonderful meats and cheeses from around the world. If you can't find it here, then you don't need it. Great wine selection also. They have so many choices. Tucked away in the back they also have a great bakery. Weather it's a sandwich and soup or a picnic for the beach they have you covered. Just can't say enough good about this wonderful gem tucked away in Sarasota. Try them out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

“Love this market for many different reasons”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

If I lived close by to Morton's market in Sarasota Fl, it would be my go to place for healthy, delicious lunch on the sidewalk patio and would be my gourmet grocer for entertaining and special prepared meals eating in. The number of salads and other choices in virtually every category (meat, cheeses, fresh veggies, plus its fabulous bakery and lovely coffees make this an incredible find in the Hillview section of town. We bought four kinds of salads/vegetables today and loved them all - sugar snaps, broccoli I with roasted garlic, spinach Gorgonzola, hearts of Palm. This place has a solid good formula.
