“Not what I was expecting but interesting”

St Boniface Labyrinth
Reviewed November 8, 2013 via mobile

I was expecting a garden-style labyrinth. This is a stone inlay in the church's courtyard, near the mausoleum. There a nice fountain nearby so it helps with noise. However, this is a big church with lots of activity. I'd also recommend going early or late.

All are welcome at the church and on the grounds. There is even a healing mission. The labyrinth is inlaid in the courtyard and is very soothing. But attend a service not only for the excellent messages but spectacular music. They even offer many free concerts throughout the winter season. The photo here is NOT correct.

St Boniface Labyrinth is a walking meditation open 24/7 in the courtyard by the bell tower. You can walk it solo at any time, dusk and dawn are very quiet times. The courtyard and tower were designed by an award winning architect. Good way to get a way from the crowds for a half hour. During office hours the church and restrooms are also open. Church campus is near beach and firehouse, 5615 Midnight Pass Rd.
