This is the first time eating here and we were not dissappointed. The food was extremely good and the hibachi chef was professional, talented, and a darn good cook. Servers were there when you needed them and though the Restaraunt was a little understaffed, the customers never were inconvenienced by it.

At with my kids at Tokyo. Was better than it looked from outside. Shared a table with a friendly English family which helped the atmosphere. Service was a little slow but there was loads of food. Perhaps not the best I've been to but it was pretty tasty...go hungry! Staff were friendly and polite and the kids enjoyed the show put on by the chef. All in all not a bad choice!

Glowing reviews, a groupon and an anniversary dinner with my wife, what could be better? Well, the sushi could have been. The soft-shell crab was well cooked and crunchy but bland, both as an appetizer and in the spider roll. The tiny slivers of eel were lost in the rice and sauce of the eel roll. The salmon on the rainbow roll was sliced so thinly it was transparent, as was the sashimi sampler. The pickled seaweed was very good and crunchy, but a bit sweet to eat more than half an order. Everything was pleasant and edible, but the quantity of the main protein in every dish was well below the norm.

Our server was very good. Despite limited English, she went out of her way to describe the food, and even talked about the baseball on the TV above the sushi bar and the cute toddler at another table.

I can't review the hibachi table menu, but the folks eating at the tables seemed to be enjoying themselves. If you're visiting town, hanging around the circle, and haven't seen the shtick at the hibachi section a million times, it's probably a good time. For sushi however, Utamaro's, Kazoo's, JoTo's and Kyoshi's are within 5 miles and are all far superior.

Not the cleanest spot in town...blinking rope lights give you a great indication of the atmosphere inside
