This private course has opened up to non members on a restricted basis. The course is old style, with narrow tree lined fairways, smaller well positioned greens and strategic sand traps. For the price, there are a lot of nicer better maintained courses in both Sarasota and further south. The driving range in not complimentary as are most private courses and is in a triangle, where a well hit ball goes out onto one of the adjacent fairways. The practice area is small and not well maintained. The pace of play is ok, with members walking the course. The top 5 handicap holes fit their billing. Get your lower score on the front nine as the back nine is tougher. Great finishing par 5, with a double dog leg, water, sand and a two tiered elevated green. I got a deal to play here, but would not for the 50$ plus green fee for the quality.
