“WOW !!! WELL WORTH A VISIT”
Reviewed February 23, 2011

We had spent most of our holiday around Disney/Universal and needed to have a break for a day from it all
This is NOT a zoo it is what it says it is a sanctuary for some amazing animals !! 40+ Lions and Tigers, Camels, Shire Horses, Huge Bears, Black Panther, Birds, Monkeys, Cowboy Cows not sure what they are called with huge horns, Goats, also heard they will start taking in Crocodiles or Aligators soon not sure which.
This place runs of donations but all animals look well fed,( I never saw one animal pace up and down like they do in zoos) all these animals have lots of interaction with people who all work there voluntarily.
You can ring up and book one of there Lion /Tiger educational Displays wish we had known about!!!
We will definately visit again when we holiday there

“Animal Extravaganza.......”
Reviewed February 21, 2011

We visited Big Cat Habitat in February when they have Animal Extravaganza. We got to see Lions, Tigers, Bears real up close. The trainers chit-chatted with visitors to explain more about the animals. It was very informative. We had visited sereval zoos but nowhere we could animals so closely. This was an amazing experience.
The Animal Extravaganza was magnificient. The show was included in the gate ticket. It was 2 hours show and focussed on severals animals including big cats, bears, elephants, chimpanzee. The animals were all very playful. We enjoyed it very much.
It is good to see that Rosaire family is do their best to save animals.

“Great close-up experience, but show long-winded!”
Reviewed January 5, 2011

This is a great place for your kids to see tigers and bears up close and personal. Took our 6 kids and they had a good time. The staff let them feed the bears marshmallows and got to see the animals (tigers, monkeys, bears, tortoise, exotic birds) close-up. The show was great when it comes to seeing the animals, but VERY long winded. They talked A LOT and not just educational...a lot of political agenda stuff the kids didn't really understand and got VERY bored with. I would definitely say not really geared toward little kids, but more late elementary school age. Only port-a-lets, no changing tables or real bathrooms and you are not allowed to bring strollers into the show area which was tough with having a one-year old and a baby. I ended up having to take them out of the show after a while. Also, watch out for the tigers as one lifted its tail and pee'd on my husband and the face of two of my kids! Staff laughed about it, which I didn't think was very nice. Price was OK and they didn't charge for our two little ones, but they did ask for an EXTRA donation during the show. Overall a good afternoon out, but be prepared to sit during the show for at least an hour or more and the tigers come last :)

“Great to see, doing a very good thing for the animals.”
Reviewed November 24, 2010

Really clean, animals well cared for. Very educational. They are doing the right thing for the right reasons. Broad variety of wild life. Nominal fee for entry, there is a show at 1:30pm (don't know if it's every day). Kids loved it. Good place to support. Very entertaining.

“Lions and tigers and bears REALLY!”
Reviewed November 3, 2010

Unforgettable, wonderful and every other word I can think of won't describe what a wornderful experience my family had. It is not a zoo or circus outing it's up close and personal learning about the animals experience. These incredible people rescue and lovingly care for all these animals. Parking is free and the 20$ adult and 10$ child donation is a pittinance to what it must cost to keep all these animals healthy. Make time in your life and GO!!
