I think that if anyone has a problem with the cats being in cages then donate the money to get them into a larger sanctuary. It is very expensive to feed and care for these animals that would otherwise be in dire straights. This family truly cares for the animals and have dedicated their lives to doing the best they can for the animals they have , I visited here this Christmas and it was not what some portrayed it to be, The cats seemed happy content and did not show any signs of aggression, that being said I am not a animal behaviorist nor do I know these cats on a regular basis. Saving and caring for any animal takes a special kind of person so unless you have a better alternative or can fund a better place to keep the cats then I suggest you not knock the efforts of others. It is easy to cast stones but walk in the shoes of the cats for a while , they don't have such a bad life, three meals a day , clean water and regular vet care. On top of that they have a true bond with the people that work with them. It is sad that some people would discourage this without offering a better solution. I am sure the people that run the sanctuary would love an endless supply of funds to have the ideal habitat.
