We had gelato here- it was very good, and you can sample the flavors before you buy The chocolates are beautiful to look at. Worth a stop.

This place is pricey but worth it. All but one flavor of the macarons are gluten free. Try the basil with white chocolate. It was my favorite. Sounds strange but it is fabulous. They made great espresso too. There are some tables to eat right there. Every flavor we had was good, some much better than others. Loved the basil, lemon, raspberry.

A random stop turned into a favorite place. I sampled the homemade Gellato.and picked up a box of various Macarons. I thought it to be a little pricey until I tasted it all and then changed my mind based on the quality. This is definitely and indulgent treat and not for an every day thing. A small Gellato will run you $3.75 and the macarons are $1.80 each (a little less expensive if you by a dozen).

These macarons are nothing like the ones made in Paris or in NYC!!! Real macarons should just melt in your mouth because they are so light and airy. We tried 6 different flavors here and all were way too sweet (not complaining about that) and waaay too chewy!! We were looking for a light dessert, not laffy taffy. Definitely would not go back.

Le Macaron sells authentic French delights- not to be confused with American macaroons ! These tasty bites are the real thing- a French sweet based on almonds, not coconuts. The gift boxes are delightful and there is a wide range of flavors ! If you visit St Armands Circle and want to treat yourself to a special surprise, stop by Le Macaron-- you won't be disappointed !!
