Good restaurant. Food well prepared and waiters were very helpful. Lots of food but you get that in the US. We certainly couldn't finish it!

Came into town to deliver our son to school and wandered over to St. Armand's Circle for dinner. We got in close to 8 PM and the place was packed out both inside and out on a (typically) muggy summer night. First off, we found no place inside to put in our name for a table, but eventually ran into a waitress who gave us a time estimate. We were hungry and tired so decided to wait and were told to just stand outside down the sidewalk a bit. We were seated a little quicker than the time we'd been told as the waitress we had encountered simply came out and found us--no name taken, etc. Inside, our server was obviously working hard but was having to take care of too many tables. He was apologetic for the wait for our drinks and food and for bringing our bread out after our entrees. In terms of the food--it was actually pretty tasty: I had a salad with roast salmon that was very good, my wife had a salad with chicken that she also liked, and my son had pasta (a little underdone) and sausage. With tip, the price was fairly reasonable for a hoity-toity area like St. Armand's. Despite that, I'd have to think twice about going there for dinner again--the overall chaos and noise + the heat (no AC), as well as the beleaguered wait staff made it a less-than-stellar dining experience.

Many of the places on St. Armand's are overpriced and not necessarily good. Venezia is reasonably priced and tasty. We have had the pizza and the pasta and both are good. The wine list is nice. Family friendly and efficient service. We go often when we are in that part of town.
